thx eye_on_sparrow!  I wanted it to look round, which was nearly impossible with all the non round stuff I put in!  I only put in the small items and sent the larger ones free floating in the box.

I'm really pleased the way that the tape-measure bow turned out.  It's not glued, but secured with a pin so born2bwild can undo it if she needs a tape measure

Thanks Hollylynne!  I was lucky that Born2bwild had such an amazing list o'wists!  I found the tute for the bow here:

And this pic http://cache.wists.com/thumbnails/8/b8/8b8d5fe8d9a2810b225d91c3e6594a2b
was the reason I tried to make the ball so round.  Pretty!

This is my "Magic Yarn Lump"  Grin from CraftyCoug!

I received sock needles, a vintage belt kit, a ton of fabric, candy, a shadow puppet book, lace trim, and rick rack.  At the center of the lump was a bright yellow poof!
She also made me a headband, a vinyl bag, a teeny bikini for a stuffie, and jewelry.
All this great stuff came wrapped in rainbow sock yarn to make fingerless gloves.

I love everything!  Thanks a ton CraftyCoug!!!

you guys are all amazing, I'm so impressed with the yarn balls I've seen so far! I see some lotion/body wash poking out of mine, and my dog is here smelling all over it:)

That yarn is so pretty, yarnisfun!

When I started this I thought I'd knit it out ... but I am SO full of it.  I should have known that would never happen, especially not after I saw the goodies sticking out.  Besides ... it smelled really good.  Here is the ball and I'll post pics of the goodies later.  I found chunky needles somewhere near the middle and got distracted by them Smiley  I'll have to wait until my pile of loot is complete again
