I got my package from tucanchild!  I can't even sufficiently describe how well my partner understood my quirky sense of humor.  I love everything in it, I keep catching myself saying I have a favorite thing, but then I find something equally or more endearing about something else.

I got some coasters with really lovely cross stitching in them (the funny part is, I pulled them out in order, and I have to think that you packed them that way on purpose), a trivet, a travel mug (which has already been pilfered), some lovely ephemera (yay! i love papery goodness!), a venus paper doll (ahhh I love it!), a cd that will be great for upbeat house cleaning, and a little spinner doohickey with options...do these things have names or not?

I'm also thinking that tucanchild has some kind of weird pact with her mailman because this stuff came really quick.

I love everything- thanks so much for making this a great first swap!

(and since I know you are all observant folks here, the afghans weren't done by me, but they are a crafty shout-out to my great grandma)
Edited because I'm stupid.

I'm glad you liked everything!! I'm planning on posting pix from your package tomorrow/this weekend.

Hi I got my package from Scottskipper402 today.  Here are some pictures of what she sent me.
This is a shift dress that she made me out of some vintage looking cotton with carrots on it.  Its pretty comfy and the carrots are actually woven into the design of the fabric, not printed.  I love that look.

Oh and just incase you are wondering, yes I'm standing on my roof in the rain to have the picture taken and yes it does look like there is a chimney coming out of my head.

Scotskipper also made me this awsome crazy quilted bag.  I love it.  I am the crazy quilt queen!!!

She also made me this really cool neck cooler thingy.  You just soak them in water and tie them around your neck and it helps keep you cool.  Really great for when I'm working at the farm or at the lake.  And a pair of blue earings.  And some Really yummy smelling oil.  I love the blend.  This is a picture of the bag, neck tie and earings.

Thanks so much for all of my goodies.  The dress is comfy I don't want to take it off.

I came home today to a delivered package, and a package notice...I'm not quite sure why they left one package and not the other, but I was hoping that the one they left was from ohsweetie.
I have a feeling it's at the Post Office now, since I opened the bag and found my new iPod shuffle that my bank gave me for swithing and setting up an RRSP, credit card and a few other things...

I'm off and running to see if they are still open! Smiley

there was a package notice b/c it was "express". isn't it crazy that in canada it's $9.40 to ship that box to you at regular (7-9 days) and $10.60 to send to you express?! (3-5 days!!). weird!
