Here are a couple of projects I've finished recently and just hadn't gotten around to posting yet.  I love how the diner girl turned out!  I think she is ssooooooo cute!  The towel is just one of many that I am working on for my bathroom for my new apartment I'll be moving into in September.  I'm doing several different, hand towels, wash cloths and towels for display .. and use.. but mostly just display.  I'm planning on doing several different images on them, arraying from a swan or a rose to even one of the pinup girls.  I think it will be a lot of fun anyways.  On the bow, that was my first time to ever try wrapping.  Geeze.. it seemed like it took forever.. but in person it has a really cool effect.

Hope ya'll enjoy!

Thanks for all the great comments, ya'll!  And wrapping... well, at least what I heard was wrapping.. is where you do one stitch.. like in my case I did the back stitch outlining the entire bow.. and then literally wrapped the thread back across the entire outline.. kind of like doing a satin stitch except it's just covering the outlining back stitch.. does that make any sense?  Eh, I tried haha.

Thanks - sounds like it is the same idea or the same thing as couching...lots of work alright but the result looks great on the terry towel.
