A friend is having a little boy any day now... and I am so happy that his baby blanket is finished in time Smiley

I used the hexagon pattern from the Snapping Turtle Skirt in Knitting Nature.  Difficult at first but I got the hang of it by the 3rd one.  And, wow, did my picking up stitches skills increase.

Whole Blanky

Blanky Wrong Side (which I like just as much)

Beautiful!  I really love the skirt in the book and the pattern works wonderfully as a blanket, too.  I like the wrong side best (I think the wrong side is the side she picked for the skirt, as well?)
