i made my date's suit too.

in 3 days.

he's way too cool for a normal tux.

this one shows my 4 inch pointy zebra heels.

and the back view shows my buttons, not zipper, and large pink bow. and the gloves i was wearing for like 5 minutes.

the suit was pretty much improvised. it was made with a hideous and unflattering old prom dress from the thrift store. it was very rushed, so it could have been much better if i had time. my dress was made with a vogue pattern (it was based on a vintage pattern circa 1957...the number was 2962 i believe?) and it turned out really good except for the fact that it was 2 or 3 sizes too big. my measurements were in between sizes and i picked the smaller one...so there doesn't really seem to be a reason for it...anyone else have this problem with vogue patterns? this one specifically? patterns in general?

Oh, you're the cutest prom couple! Cute dress and it takes a real man to wear hot pink. Cheesy

hmm that's a good idea - using an old prom dress, for your date's suit. and you didn't use a pattern for it? incredible. It sculpts his booty very nicely Cheesy
