Whoo-hoo!  Picked up the book from the library last night!  Flipping through I found the peace sign that I've seen on the internet before, last time I tried I ended up with a horrible mess, hopefully my chart reading has improved! Smiley

I just finished the cloth from the pattern on page 7. My increases don't look like the cloth from the pattern.

Maybe she just does the increases differently.

Super cute, daizyduke!

I have a question...are the turtle and spider patterns not in either of her first two books?

It's in the Third Treasury of Charted patterns, so it's the third book.

The spider is great too, I can't wait to get started on it.

I first saw that turtle on the Barber Walker Treasury site. I thought it looked pretty but couldn't figure out how to put it into knitting. What a brilliant idea!

I concur with everyone! This is too cool. I have a friend who just moved from NY to CA and had to leave her pet turtle. I think she would love something like this. Good inspiration1

I love this!  My college mascot (U of MD) was a turtle, so I have about a billion girlfriends who would love to receive this scarf.... Wonder how long it will take to knit a billion?
