It began as this size Large Men's Dress shirt:

Then it slowly and miraculously transformed into this:

The halter is made from the sleeves, and I twisted them to get a thinner strap.  If you don't twist it, it will be big bulky and awkward looking.

For the back I just sewed in some elastic b/c it's late, I'm lazy, and I don't want to mess w/ darts right now.... I haven't drank enough wine to obtain the patience for darts. Tongue

A little daisy button I had laying around, I think it adds a little something extra!

Comments??  Critiques?? I am so friggin excited to hear what y'all have to say about my niftiness!!!

That's so cute! Also clever! I have tried many times to make things out of big men's shirts, and never have I made anything as neat as this. Good job!

Thanks for all the wonderful comments!!  Also, you might not have to run to Goodwill.  I got this from my friend's dad who was about to donate a bunch of his old work clothes.  So ask around b4 you spend moolah, you'd be surprised where you'd get the hook up!  Cheesy

Oh, this is too cute!

I think if it were me I might do the top/halter a little differently, but that's just because I can't go bra-less... Oh, how jealous I am of girls who can! I used to be able to in high school, but either my girls got bigger or my confidence got smaller... I don't know, but I can say that you can't catch me without one now!

However, I think that this is a really adorable idea! I'm definitely tempted to go raid my boyfriend's closet... after all, he has too many dress shirts anyway Smiley
