so i got a pattern for a purse (http://www.butterick.com/item/B4822.htm?tab=accessories&page=2, view C), cause i liked the the straps. well my adhd was kicking in or something, cause the pattern looked boring, so i abandoned the instructions and went my own way. I redid the straps and gave it a jordy-esque bottom.

 this fabric is awesome huh?Smiley

the only thing i forgot was a magnetic closure..whoops..maybe next time.......i will definately make this again, but maybe a little smaller. i just dont carry enough stuff to require such a big bag(its 6 inches tall at the lowest point of ther curve and 16 inches wide at the bottom). i think it would still be cute if i made it more narrow.

so, whatcha think?

and i have to add this was one of the easiest purses i have ever made! definately more to come...

That is the cutest fabric I have ever seen! Where did you buy it? And the purse itself is awesome! I'd so use it!

Great job! And I just bought that pattern yesterday because they had a 99 cent Butterick pattern sale going on. I like your strap modification. Good idea.
