These are simply gorgeous! Does knitting with wire tend to hurt your hands? I've got callouses from knitting in general, and I wear them proudly, but it sounds like knitting with wire might cause some discomfort beyond what I'm used to....

i've tried knitting with wire before and i found it difficult. then again, i give up quite easily on things like that. perhaps i should try again, eh? thanks for the inspiration!

It's not too tough...you just have to be sure that your wire is thin enough. Anything larger than 28g is pretty rough on the hands.

Yep....it can be rough but the right wite can make a difference.  Wire is cheap enough that you can buy different sizes and see what works and what effect you prefer. 

It's not too tough...you just have to be sure that your wire is thin enough. Anything larger than 28g is pretty rough on the hands.

I just tried wire knitting for the first time today and loved it.  These bracelets are great!
I noticed my hands didn't hurt too much when I knitted, but frogging is a pain.  It would probably be easier with wire smoothing pliers, but i don't have any.
