... and since the current challenge has a "Wild Things" theme (albeit in a medium I've never gotten the hang of),

awesome.  I love the mural.  I just finished knitting one of the characters from this book for the challenge.  It's truly a timeless classic.

Oh -- was that your little guy I saw in the featured projects yesterday? TOO cute. If I could knit, I would make the one pictured in my mural. They used to have these book/toy sets a few years ago that had a stuffed version of that guy, along with a tiny copy of the book. I have no idea why I didn't buy one. Probably too poor at the time -- I think I was in college -- but I put less worthwhile things on my credit card, so I can only assume I passed him up as a result of temporary insanity.  Undecided

I love this! That book is a favorite in my house. I even rasterbated one of the wild rumpus pictures for my sons room in our last house. Wonderful job!
