Beautiful colors!!! I like the first one the best, but I think what McJulie-O said could be really cool, too. Actually, all of them are great!  Smiley

Last time I checked (which is about every 30 seconds  Cheesy) I was a bloke, so I hope I'm not intruding in a girlie thread.

#1 Jumps out at me. It's really alluring, but in an engulfing sense, though I think this is due to it being red. It's very vibrant.

#2 Is a lot more alluring in a cool inviting sense. Number two is my preferred. But I'm a sucker for cool colours.

#3 Just doesn't do it for me at all. It reminds me of rainbows. But maybe that's my masculinity being a turd.  Embarrassed

I do make myself laugh - I give an opinion on the looks, but I've never heard of a log cabin block! What exactly are they?  Smiley

Your dd will be so pleased - these are lovely blocks. I vote for layout 2 with the purple in the middle. I really like number 2 as it is both beautiful and unexpected. #1 is really pretty, but I think I have seen red cores more frequently. #3 is pretty as well, but #1 and #2 have the stronger graphic component.

#2 here. the first one is nice and really eye popping, but it's grating...like the red is making a slight buzzing noise that's always at the back of your head. #2 has the same contrast and catchiness, but without the buzzing. i know that probably sounds weird, but that's how it feels to me.
