UMheried and I are thinking of renting a table.

Wondering if anyone here has sold their goods...what sold well, and didn't and what the overall experience was like.

Thanks!

Hey...just found this post. I'm new to the area (in Carman), but went to the market in St. N's a few times last year. Were you there? Will you be there again this year?

How did it all go??

No, we didn't end up going.  The process to sign up for a table is ridiculous.  They want to send someone to your home to inspect your workplace...and the fees are incredible...no thank you!

I will continue supporting the farmers market....but only as a patron.

I've looked into St. Norbert as well and agree that the application is ridiculous.  But there are plenty of other relatively large Farmer's Markets in and around Winnipeg; Pine Ridge Hollow has nearly 90 vendors, Assiniboia Downs is big, Brandon (if you're from that area) has at least 4, and  now the Forks has started one on Thursdays and Saturdays I think.  Worth looking into anyways.  Also, members at Cartizan.com will soon have access to craft sale, market and festival listings throughout Manitoba.
