DITTO Totally..  Cool  Cool  Cheesy
This Rocks

Great Tutorial  I know I will be making this bag this summer in different colors and passing them out to my friends and family in promoting green living.

I'd even like to stencil a neat design like a recycling symbol on the front of the pocket.

Thanks Thanks Thanks !

I reeeeaaaallly want to stop accumulating plastic shopping bags and then having to take them back for recycling. I have been coveting fabric bags for a long time but I don't want to pay retail for them. The fact that each bag can be packed into it's own pocket is so sweet. This is an excellent tutorial for an excellent pattern. Thank you for taking the time to put it up and for sharing. I will use this. Gotta bookmark.

I just love all the beautiful fabrics you lot have been using.
I've been making shopping bags for several years now, its a great feeling coming home without plastic bags.

i made three of these so far!!! yay. i cut out a bunch but it was while i was still pregnant and then i  never got a chance to get to them until now. i took two to the grocery store today but they only used one!  Angry i guess i need to be more insistent that they use my bags. they did however use one other bag that i bought at that store with their big logo on it. how convenient...

I am particularly loving the top set. Is the one on the right butterflies?

Yes it is butterflies.  I just found the fabric with the "asian influences" quilting fabric in JoAnnes.

I've made two of these nifty little bags so far, and took one out for a spin today.

Here it is, stuffed full of goodies from Daiso!
