Yeah, a lot of plastic bags have been saved.   I have made one for almost every swap since I started making them.   I have STILL haven't made one for myself.

Great tutorial! Thanks!
I made a smaller version for my lunch bag for work. I throw it in the fridge when I get there, so I needed something just to carry my containers in. I was using a plastic bag - but not anymore! Grin

So I made one of those for myself and use it when I buy something. But now that I moved out of my parents house and have to go grocery shopping, of couse it takes a lot more than one bag and I end up using the plastig bags. But I have so many plastic bags at my house now, that I'm disgusted. I HAVE to make more of these. I want to make 5 more and make 2 or 3 bigger than the regular plastic bag. I hope I will never need a plastic bag again when I finish making my bags.

That has been my goal and I can't seem to find enough time to stock my store, much less sew anything for my self...

Here's another bag I made for a personal swap.  It was the first time I made it w/the pocket.

Folded up nicely (back)

The pocket w/embroidered (off-center) octopus
