Love this bag... made one last night!!!!  Elvis on the outside black stonewash on the inside! I love this because it feels SO sturdy, looks good and give me a place to use all the novelty fabrics I have accumulated over the years. 
 I used almost 1 yard of each , you could probably get by with 7/8 of a yard......

Oh, I am definitely making some of these! I have to hit the fabric store on my way home tomorrow, so I guess I'll be picking up some fabric for a set of these! And, I think I'll make a little zippered pouch (lined of course Wink ) to carry them all in!

They look fantastic!!  I really like the purply fabric - very interesting - I could look at it for hours.  You must sew fast  Cheesy whipping up these little beauties.

lol from start to finish .. I think they each took about an hour and a half. I love the purply fabric too ... it's called "third rock" from Fabri Craft. I picked it up off craigs list at Christmas .. a fellow sewing enthusiast was moving cross country and I scored BIG TIME!

I love the fabric you picked.  Do you have that sort of fabric lying around in your stash!?!!  WOW  Shocked  Fabulous!!! 

How did you go turning it into the pouch?  I found that if I tried to turn it all at once it was really hard.  If I pushed one corner down on the pouch at a time to turn it was much easier.

I don't sew, but my other half does (she's a quilter).  She's going to be making a few of these very very soonly for us.

Also, the Target bags seem to be deeper than the regular grocery bags.
