That's a brilliant idea!  I'm glad you thought of it for me.  *rushes to Michael's*

ditto! Only I'll be at Hobby Lobby instead of Michael's Wink

Thanks so much for the tutorial!
I really loved the purple dress especially. And I do have some over-sized tees
*devilishly ponders the outcome*

I love that purple dress Smiley

On the pink dress, if I were you I would cut it just above the knees like the purple dress, because it makes your legs look longer and smoother for some reason.

otherwise I love what you've done, especially that cute top--adorable.

I actually made a dress like this over the weekend before i saw your post...great mind must think alike!!!  Yours are cuter though. And I used the original collar of the t-shirt for the straps.

I'm also a little bigger/curvier (5'7")  and mine was made from a large shirt.  fFr all the "curvier" girls out there..XL to XXl will work better, unless you want it to be very form fitting!!!

shayneblate08, good idea! actually, i was thinking of cutting it short into a shirt, cause i barely wear dresses (but have some urge to create them... Roll Eyes)  my sewing machine is off for repairs, so i'll have to be patient Shocked
