So, foolishly i offered to knit my 9yo brother a slytherin sweater for the Deathly Hallows (EEE! 33 days!) launch, in July, and said i'd knit myself a ravenclaw one. The ravenclaw one for myself is going fine, using the basic raglan pattern in the knitalong and wide stripes. BUT the smallest school sweater pattern i could find has a 36'' bust. My little brother is a skinny squirt, and has a chest measurement of 27'', which i fear would abseloutely drown him. I found a few to buy, and i will do if necessary, but if anyone could point me in the direction of a free one, i'd be eternally grateful.

Thanks in advance.

I hunted for a vneck raglan calculator and all I could find was this:

I hope that helps in some way.

There is a book! It is called "charmed knits" I think. It has all hp stuff in it. I saw it in borders the other day. You could look into it, its got alot of cute little hp patterns.

Edit: You can "read" the first few pages on amazon, the first sweater goes from toddler to adult xxl to fit chest 20" to 48". Awesome, eh?

Edit again, gosh I got too excited to read:
Ok so the person above me posted a link the the site of the author of the book, but for somereason the like isn't right when you click on it http://alison.knitsmiths.us/pattern_weasley.html
