Thanks everyone!!  It was a lot of (dorky) fun to make and I would like to make another.  I'll be away the rest of this week but I will work on putting together a tutorial when I get back.

Gorgeous - thank you so much for reminding me about this technique!  My Nanna had a blue/grey/white rug quite similar to this many, many years ago and I'd completely forgotten it.  Ah, the memories...

I've been making shaggy lots-of-little-scrap rugs lately (I really should post one, I suppose, rather than just talking about them!) so I might try my hand at one of these as well.    Cheesy
