My 3 1/2 year old son has become obsessed with rockets and spaceflight. Someone suggested that we let him watch the Jimmy Neutron movie. (Hardly Star Wars, but harmless enough.  Smiley Of course Tom loved it.)

Jimmy is 5" - 6" (12.5 - 15 cm) high without his hair, which added another 2" (5 cm) or so. I tried his hair three different ways. I'm still not delighted with how it turned out, but my son tells me it's fine.

Jimmy gets around in a rocket ship.

The rocket had no form at all, so after I finished, I stuffed the tail section and put a circle patch over it to keep the stuffing in. Then I cut 1" strips of plastic canvas and sewed them inside the main body of the rocket to form a sort of framework or skeleton. I wish I'd taken a picture of that -- boy howdy, was it ugly. So then I made a liner and sewed that inside to cover the skeleton. Much nicer.

Now all he needs is Goddard (his robot dog).

Ahw too cute I like the rocket it's a heck of alot better then what I can do. I know your son loves it.

There will always be people who say mean words  because you are different, and sometimes their minds cannot be changed. There are many more people who do not judge others based on how they look or where they are from. THOSE are the people whose WORDS truly matter.

RAAAARAH!
