I actually made this for my prom a YEAR ago. I just stumbled on some photos and thought it was worth sharing. Because it's really super fabulous. It's based on a pattern from Nicky Epstein's Knitted Flowers.
Picture I used in my Concordia portfolio (I was accepted:D):

With the whole outfit:

And for fun...my date and I. He wore a pin striped suit...we were SO cool.

And yes, I do like to close my eyes in photos.

I was just looking at another book by Epstein and almost bought it today. Your version is so pretty, very nicely felted.
