I used acrylic paint and mod podge to paint a pair of flip flops, but it peeled off the first time i tried to wear them.   Angry

Anyway, I redrew the design in sharpie but I think it probably needs a clear coat of something on top. But what should I use?

Hm. What type of flipflops are they?
Are they the foam kind?
Or are they some rubber sole type?
Maybe a picture would help.

I would suggest a thin layer of school glue but it wears off in heat, but I know of this stuff, I don't know exactly whats its called but it comes in a spray can and its sort of like a sealer but it works on everything that I've tried it on. But for the life of me I can't find it (I just moved.) but when I do I will let you know the name.

most shoe stores or dep't store sell a waterproofing spray that I think would work. My son just bought a pair of suede shoes and a can of this  spray that was suggested by the company that made the shoes. I don't know the name of it but he got his at walmart.
