How interesting. I wonder if males who knit is more acceptable in Europe. My mother has an expertly knitted round  Lace table cloth knitted by the husband of a friend. He is now deceased.

All the time I have been spending on Craftster for 2 years and not stumbling across this post ? OMG ! Thanks for posting. I'm copying the pics to read the whole story. I'm just wondering if those guys are still knitting. It could be interesting to post a message on the german knitters' group on Ravelry, couldn't it ?
