lilylola and I have both received. And I decided to post pics of what I sent her. A little book on Indian Dance in Russian, a booklet about a Ukranian national dance ensemble, a children's story book. And a Bulgarian book about the holiday called Lazarovden, that has a lot of photographs of national dress from different parts of the country. I also took pictures of some pages in the indian dances book.

Thank you so much dreamergirl, I've been having camera issues (i've put it down somewhere and can't find it) but I love everything you sent me. The photos in the Ukranian booklet are fabulous as are the ones of Indian dancers and my daughters and I are going to use the pictures in the childrens book as a summer holiday project, making up our own stories to go with the pictures (I want to write and illustrate childrens books one day when I have time and inspiration). Thank you again dreamergirl, you were a lovely swap partner.

Hey!

So I received some lovely books & bookmarks from lindsoriah a little bit ago, and here they are!



That'd be Irish Tales of Terror (with some pretty sweet authors, from James Joyce to HP Lovecraft) - quite appropriate, since I'm soon to be an Irish citizen! (dual citizenship with my current Canadian!). Which she couldn't have known! And for my interest in classics, White Fang!  A pretty good choice too, since it's a classic I haven't read/don't own yet!

The bookmarks are Old West-style with my name, and a Super Mario one!

The blue crocheted bookmark looks sooo beautiful. And I love the green cross-stitch bookmark too. Is it cross-stitch or are my eyes not ok today? sorry.

Seeing all these cool bookmarks using textile techniques like weaving, crocheting, embroidery, etc. is really inspiring. I might just have to take up some more crafts. Seriously, I think crochet is one sexy craft. lol

Sorry I forgot to mention the "bling" on my book clutch!  I was on a borrowed computer after a concert last week.  It slipped my mind.

Got my second book in 



The description on the back reads "Believe in recycling? So does God. Reusing old body parts to create new bodies, he organizes Heaven with an occasional drink and smoke."

I am excited to read this, to say the least.

So glad you finally got it!  Yeah I definitely didn't know you were going to get Irish citizenship, but I'm glad the book is something you'll like.  I am so excited about what I got that I was really anxious about whether you'd like yours too!

My partner hasn't been online in 2 weeks...I don't think I can go that long without being on Craftster. It's a borderline addiction

Bookmark 1: I know its real silly but I figured it might make her laugh or others when they see her using it-


Bookmark 2: Jess had a lot of posts praising people's sock monkey projects on here, so I found images of sock monkeys around the world and put some fake postcards on here-


Book 1: A pretty interesting memoir. There's a sequel coming soon and I think a movie as well-


Book 2: I really like Jodi Picoult's novels. Hopefully Jess will too-
