I've never actually posted in the Fiber Friday thread before! This is a custom order that I did for someone this week: "Devil Magic"

New Zealand romney, merino, and silk.

vixenmeowmeow, "Devil Magic" is AMAZING!  I love the bold contrast of the thick red slubs and the thinner black, I bet the receiver will adore it.

Lufah, That yarn is swoooooonworthy.  A bamboo/Merino blend sounds like heaven to spin.

feralfeminine, if you don't mind my asking, where did you get your organic pima cotton? i've never spun before, but I think if I was to try it, I'd want to try it with something like that!

RepoRebo I really like your yarn this week. It's very pretty.
feralfeminine I love "Skip". I think it's really cool how you spun the white and colors like that.

I meant to post yesterday, but I got side-tracked while packing for Alaska.
This is some Hello Yarn BFL top in "Very Cherry". I spindle spun it because I wanted to be able to spin in school during the last week of nothingness. I'm planning on knitting socks with it. There should be about 172 yards there. I'm working on a second skein right now.

Yep, Alaska. I'm going with a big group. six or seven groups of ten. I've thought about taking my spindle with me on the plane, but I'm not sure it'd be allowed. Nine days with out spinning or knitting...Ugh, it's gonna be hard, but worth it. =]
