knitwit...i LOVE that King Cake yarn...its so gorgeous...ahhh...ive FINALLY spun up something that i would want to post on the fiber friday board...but mine too is for a swap and i dont want to ruin the surpise...but the roving i used ALL came from fyberduck, my mom ((Dulcinea)) did a personal swap with her around the winter holidays to get me some roving, and it was so pretty i had no idea wht to do with it, but man, spinning that stuff was divine for a relative newbie...so...if any new spinners are looking to buy very nice roving for a project in mind, the stuff i had was from carolina homespun originally...and it was a gorgeous colorway.  now im done ruining my surprise for the swap.

I love Carolina Homespun. I'm not sure I've ever met a nicer person than Morgaine [the owner.] She is such a beautiful person and knows a ton! They carry a lot of great stuff including Chasing Rainbows Dyeworks fibers. Mmmm.

Just a few more Fridays and I should be back posting for Fiber Friday! Soon, soon I will have time to spin again! I have two sheep to shoe kits from Blue Moon that are just killing me waiting to be spun! Great work spinsters!

I haven't spun in what feels like forever!  Everything here today is gorgeous!!

I was so desperate to spin SOMETHING, that when I opened a pill bottle yesterday I just had to spin the cotton wadding I found in the bottle.  I did this all with my fingers so there isn't a ton of twist, but it came out to be about 6 yards Cheesy

Youve been missed, Bon! I can't wait until we can all see your yarn again Cheesy

hahaha, I do that, too, bixby! My mom will say something to me like "can you spin ___?" and hold out a paper towel or something. Grin

I'm spying on you!  And resisting the urge to look up this carolina homespun to see what's coming my way Wink

Beautiful yarn, everyone!  Someday I will learn.  I love that spinners can create their own unique yarns and aren't bound to what's available commercially.

Bixby2, your's may very well be my favorite of the week just for the sheer inventiveness. Thebon, what are sheep 2 shoe kits and where can I get one? I googled but nothing came up except bloggers raving about how much they loved theirs.
