I made these over the last few months for my Addies, DPs and crochet hooks.  No sewing here, they are all needle felted.  The outside is wool and it is lined with commercial felt.  I needle felted the sizes on each pocket.  I love this detail because it allows me to grab the needles I need in seconds!  But my shining accomplishment has to be the magnetic snap closure.

Nice! I especially like the one for circular needles.

These are great!!  I tried sewing my own needle cases, but they kind of suck...I wish I had thought of felting!

Wow, those are absolutely gorgeous! And labeling them with the needle sizes was just inspired...
(My favorite is the yellow one, I love the citrusy colors.)

great job i just finished mine. But that's a good idea to number them, I think I will too! How did you pack the circular ones? {the pockets mostly?}

Thanks to all!!!

I cut out a square for each pocket and started layering them from the top down.  Then I needle felted the bottom of each square in place and then needle felted all of the side seams together.  I used a Clover needle holder which turned out to be a great "seaming" width.

Please note that if you are planning to include the size on the pockets,  this should be done prior to seaming the pockets down.
