I got the pattern from a Sublime Stitching kit (Day of the Dead) and just copied it and sewed straight onto the paper and into my fabric.  I really don't like it but everyones gotta start somewhere.

This is the final stitching.  Its on some safety green t-shirt material I had left over.  The outline, eyes, nose, and mouth are all black, the rest is a deep red color.

I added jewels for effect.

I think I'm gonna sew it onto a onesy for my friends daughter.

Any tips for the next time I do this?

Yeah, I used my machine.  The small curves were terrible...thus they look terrible.  But I think I'm happier with the gems in the eyes.
