Thanks for such a clear tutorial.

I am quite new to sewing in fact this bag will only be my second project. I have got my material all cut ready to start tomorrow night.

My boyfriend created a PDF printable pattern for me of the original measurements. I would be happy to share it if anyone is interested as it saves a long job trying to draw it by hand  Smiley

I'm trying this out as of this minute for my christmas exchange at work! The girl I picked LOVE tinkerbell, so I found this awsome fabric... the only thing I added was an extra layer with the inside lining, a light plasic stuff to make tablecloths for outside.. so far it's going great, I can't wait to post the project!
Finished one! This one is for our secret santa gift exchange at work... the girl I picked LOVES tinkerbell!

hope she likes it!

I have only just started sewing and got my machine a few weeks ago so thought I would try these out for Christmas presssies for girls at work.  I am mostly happy with them just the corners at the top where the zips are are not the best so I will have to work on that next time.

They look fantastic!!  You're obviously not intimidated by zippers - good for you!!!  Don't be afraid to push the zip ends out.  I push mine HARD with my finger prior to closing up the lining.
