Awesome tute! I've made other zippered pouches but this one is THE BEST and easiest I've ever seen!  Thank you for taking the time to put this tute together! Now I know what to make for all my DD's friends for their B-Days this year.  Grin

That is such a great tutorial, I love the little pieces on the end of the zipper, thats where mine always look butt ugly, and I get frustrated, but this looks awesome, I totally want to make one today

okay well I couldnt wait to try, I had everything already, and I need all the practice I can get with zippers, it was a very easy to follow tutorial, but I still have problems at the ends of the zippers, and I sewed the lining to close to the zipper so it gets stuck really easily, I guess I have to just keep practicing until I get it right, but here is what I have so far wonky corners and all, I stuffed it with some plastic bags .... I just realized I forgot to topstitch, that might help with the zipper part.

Thanks all for your kind words  Smiley

That pouch is fantastic!!  I love the fabric and contrasting zipper.

When you sew your side seams, place the main fabric sides so that they are even and the zipper down in the lining.  Here is a link to a photo which shows what I mean beautifully:

This will make the corners sit right.

If you already did this, try gently poking the corners out with a broken pencil or large knitting needle.
