How big are your dishcloths? I thought 8-10 inches would be about right. ??

Someone in the last swap said she put her hand on it to see if it fits or not. I thought this was a good measurement tool. Now I stick my hand on it and keep knitting or crocheting until my hand fits with a little bit of room.

I'm in the same boat as all of you guys!  I finished my first one (it took me a few hours to find the pattern I wanted), and now I'm just searching around for a good pattern for my second.... hmmmm

It was fun to make the first one... really quick and easy, I watched The Out of Towners (1970 version) with my mom while making it.  Now we can't stop saying "Oh my gawwd!" in that annoying "Ohio" accent!  Haha

Hey now we buckeyes do not have an accent thank you very much Cheesy

Maltiriel I have the latest adds for Michaels & Joanns...Michaels is running one that is not worth much $4 for cotton ease (regularly $4.99) big sale right Roll Eyes Joanns isn't having any on cotton.
Joanns has a 50% off coupon for 06/17-06/21 & another for 06/22-06/23. Michaels has a 40% off one item. These were in last sundays paper I think.
Hobby Lobby usually lets you pull up their latest adds online

Cotton Ease makes such good dishcloths, though! But, just FYI, there is a yarn by TLC called Cotton Plus that is the same as Cotton Ease and cheaper. It is a cotton/acrylic blend...same absorbency as cotton, but doesn't shrink and holds its shape better.

I finished my first last night too!! Cheesy  Hooray for dishcloths!!

On a non-knitting note, there's some major upheaval in my life as of yesterday, and so I'm going to be pretty non=chatty during this time.  I'm not MIA, and I'll totally respond when you guys need stuff, but I'm probably not going to be talking much more than that.  Sorry to be a downer, keep up the lovely knitting, I can't wait till we can show off our goods again Smiley

I hope things are okay for you meanbean.... we are all rooting for you and I think I can speak for everyone when I say we can be patient and supportive of you!

On another note, I sent out today, so eye_on_sparrow will hopefully have 2 new dishcloths by the end of the week!  Happy knitting/crocheting, craftsters!  This has been so fun- It's always nice to have something to occupy your hands, especially on a trip- I made one of mine on a beach trip... it sort of smelled salty when I sent out Smiley

Thanks y'all!
