So, I am currently in the process of completely redoing my room. I am painting it a deep pinkish purple.. and I am having all the accessories be black. Currently, my ceiling is completely covered by a ridiculous amount of posters, but I am getting sick of a bunch of them. So, I was thinking of taking them all down and covering my ceiling with black and white newspaper (to go with the black theme). Now, I wanted other peoples opinions on whether or not this is a really stupid idea. I am really sick of the posters, too lazy to paint it and under the posters theres an abundance of glow stickers and purple paint marks. Any other ideas would be great too. Thanks!

Sounds awesome to me!

The only thing I would worry about, since your walls are going to be a bold colour, is that the room is going to feel too dark. That shouldn't be too much of a problem if you have good lighting/big windows, but do bare in mind this might make your room look smaller and your ceiling feel lower.

Also, if you're selling your house any time soon, you may want to reconsider! I'm not sure newspapered ceilings are to everyone's taste and you may find yourself having to take it all off again to sell the house Cheesy

Good luck with it if you go ahead!!
