I concur; enough with the false starts! Let's see...reading over this board I notice the crafty NYCers appear to fall in three categories, Manhattan, Williamsburg-ish Brooklyn, and Southern-ish Brooklyn.

As I live in the Williamsburg-ish part of Brooklyn and am fairly lazy, what say we meet up at Roebling Tea House in the later afternoon on Sunday, 3PM? For those who wish to brunch elsewhere you may do so and grab a cup of tea at Roebling; for those later noshers, Roebling's has an excellent menu selection. Plus couches. Big couches in the back.

Should we all wish to unite, I would recommend Cakeshop again, though taking the train anywhere on Sunday always makes me drag my feet. Then again, they do have delicous cupcakes and hot toddies. Same time and day, Sunday at 3PM. Let's pick one or the other and meet up!

AND Queens!!!!!!

Please come see us this weekend!

We're trying to keep a crafting group going in Astoria, it's tough with such busy ppl.

I know that the majority of us will be looking to put together some more craft shows. Maybe we will be able to do a larger one with some craftster ppl?

I'll meet in Williamsburg but I can't do it this weekend, maybe the following.

Alas, I did not mean to malign Queens.

I and myself enjoyed a delicious green tea, and overheard what may be the only performance art piece I wish I went to: this kid was going to reenact his Russian grandfather's wrestling a wolf...with his bully from middle and high school.

*bump*

any future meet-ups planned?

I'm moving to the Bronx but happy to travel to Brooklyn. Esp. for tea and overheard-performance-art-conversations.

any takers?
