Hi guys! wanted to show off my newest recon skirt!  used to be either my husbands or sons jeans. I don't know which, cuz no one will claim them now Grin  I used a bleach pen to outline the flowers, then used a fine tip sharpie to draw them on after the bleach was washed out.  Let me know what you think!

The jeans -> skirt recon is nice, but I'm way more impressed by your drawing abilities.  Very cool!

I just cut out a heart and sewed it on.  if you look close you can see a little wrinkle in the top center, cuz I didn't pin it first. Smiley i used a pencil and sketched in the flower ,then i used a clorox bleach pen to trace the flower.  I let that set for a while, just keep checking to see if you think it looks kinda bleached out, usually between 30 min. and an hour. After that I just ran it through the wash, with my oldest towels in case the bleach happened to do something funky, which it did not, then i used a ultra fine tip sharpie to draw the flower on again.  I could still see most of the pencil line still.  I did both flowers the same way, just one on the heart and one directly on the jeans.

That is a super cute skirt, and I've seen a lot of jeans re-cons.
