so i had the sewing itch for the last few days... and here's what i've made...

the change monster...

i made it with the intention of making it a change purse... but that's not exactly a fixed idea... maybe i'll keep my keys in it...

here is the monster from the back...

then... i had the day off on monday and decided that i really needed to make a bunnyfish...

for those of you who don't know what a bunnyfish is...
kozyndan www.kozyndan.com are the creators of the bunnyfish. i LOVE their art. for those of you in the toronto area, they're having a bunnyfish exhibit at the magic pony on queen st w starting june 28th.

here is the back of the bunnyfish...

i didn't have any plans for the bunnyfish... just thought that it would be much better with a zipper for functionality...

These are very cute! I think its such a great idea to make these as purses... I usually just stuff them, but you have opened my eyes! Lovely stitching on the bunnyfish, too. Smiley

Hahaha a bunnyfish, I love it!  I want to make one now.  That monster is adorable, with a face like that he can get away with eating keys Cheesy

super cute.
is that felt?  i love making things out of felt but they don't last long before it gets pills all over it or the felt tears.  have you noticed this or do you use something a little more heavy duty?

perhaps that's not felt and i just wasted your time with all that information  Wink

they are made of felt but i'm not too concerned about the pilling...
just liked the fact that i didn't have to serge/finish the edges...
