The colours and fabrics are lovely. What is the beaded bit on the second pic? it looks pretty.

Thanks Zero Cool for the lovely sewing package and goodies from England!

There are some sewing books/patterns - including an amazing dressmaker's book from 1976, full of patterns I'd love to try and put a modern twist on.

She also sent two altoid tins filled with crafting goodies, including stamps from around the world.

And there's English candies (the Crunchie bar has already been confiscated by my boyfriend who fell in love with them when he was in England) and tea and a makeup kit. Cute!

Thanks again!

I received my package of sewing supplies from craftydeb this week! Boy was she generous! More bias tape than I know what to do with, and some nice fabric that I have already used for my brother's birthday present.  Cheesy I don't have access to a camera at the moment, so she said the she would post pics for me. teehee. Thank you so much!

Finally getting around to posting pics of the water bottle cozy I made for Arzus little sis Grin

Arzus sis is very environmentally conscious and likes the color green so the entire cozy is made from recycled/salvaged materials with a green theme Cheesy

Click for larger pics

The cozy started out as the flap from an old messenger bag that I had stashed away because I loved the appliqu.

The lining and strap contrast came from scraps from a dress I made for my dd.  The hardware came off of an old camera bag.

I made it to fit 1 litre sized bottles or larger.  You can easily fit two small water bottle in it.  I sent the green bottle as well.  I think she knits so she may even use it as a project holder on her hikes Wink

Hope she finds it useful Smiley

Tasi, that's so awesome!  I was talking to her last night, and she's still wonderfully oblivious, and I can't wait till she gets it in the mail!  It's so perfect, she's going to adore it.  Thanks so much!
