a little stencil, a little acrylic paint+fabric medium, and a little time.

i've even washed them, they hold up well.  Smiley

I tried stenciling my shoes before but I totally couldn't seem to get it right. Did you use freezer paper? You are teh awesome.

thanks for all the compliments! i like them a lot too. Smiley

i tried to use freezer paper at first, but ironing onto shoes is difficult. so i sort of traced the stencil and then painted it in. for the black i used a fabric paint marker because it was easier than having to paint white on black or use a little teensy brush.
