To any recent swap partners: I apologize immensely for slacking. I got completely bogged down in a lot of different things and decided to just flake out on my Craftster responsibilities instead of fixing my mistakes. I'm so sorry.

I love these wirewraps! I have a really pretty stone here that I've been trying to make into a pendant, without much success...will have to try softer wire, methinks.  Cheesy

Your wire-wrapped marbles are to die for.

The earring design is very intriguing; I stared at it for nearly five minutes, I'm not sure why so long, except that the design really draws the eye down and back up again, then you kind of notice all the independent elements.

If I had designed them I probably would have used a large faceted bead instead of the turquoise, but I think it has to do with how I use turquoise more than anything. I normally put the organic-shaped chunks with non-faceted beads, using similarity of shape (round, oval) instead of contrast, adding contrast with the colors I choose. I tend to use sterling wire with blue turquoise.

Have you ever tried the yellow-green Chinese turquoise with gold wire? I really love the pieces I've done with yellow turquoise, but it's hard to find in my area.

Great pieces. Smiley
