re: altering the image, in Photoshop you can achieve the same effect by going into Image > Adjust > Hue/Saturation and clicking 'Colorize' and sliding the colour bar to the colour scheme you desire

For those people who want there bubble jet fabric prints to be washable with a slight possibility of some fadding even on a gentle wash.  Try a product called Bubble Jet Set.   I haven't tried it my self but I have bought some and intend to try it for a 'photo' purse.  I just need to find an image that I want on my purse.

I've been experimenting with this freeze paper technique, I sprayed one with water but it ran, I sprayed another with something called fixative spray and it seems to be water resistant but I havent put it thru the wash, because I don't normally wash my purses anyway, I just throw it out and make a new one, I was just curious about using some kinda of sealer.
 Love thee bag style although Madonnas not my type of music, thanks for the idea, I'm gonna make a Grandma tote for xmas.

Hey, I just found this site!  It is great.  Had a little info as far as printing on fabric.  june tailor makes colorfast printer fabric. Either plain sheets, or sheets that can be fused onto your projects.  You can find them at Joanns.com, or call a local quilting store.  This technique is used for memory quilts a lot.  You can also purchase the Bubble Jet Set 2000 there to make your own.  You save a ton of money that way. 50+ sheets for $20 with the BJS2000 vs. 3 sheets for $11 with the June Tailor.  Local quilting stores are also a great help to learn how.  HTH..

i like it. and that is a good photo of madonna--i like that "look" of hers, although it is more generic, that's why it's good. she's not trying to look hindu or japanese or anything... she just looks pretty. pretty on your bag!
