Plying singles from a drop spindle?

I went to Victoria BC's Fibre Fest yesterday and it was AMAZING.
A lady there taught me to use a drop-spindle (and here I was a knitter/crocheter, thinking I wasn't going to learn anything new!). I bought 75g of Alpaca roving (for $3!!) and I've started spinning just a little baby single.

After that's finished, how would I go about plying the whole thing?

Congrats on your new hobby! You would wind the singles into a centre pull ball and then use both the inside and outside ends together for plying. You would normally spin the spindle in the right direction, so for plying you have to spin it the other way, to the left. There are some good tutorials on youtube if you search for 'spindle, plying' or something like that.
