Did you use a pattern for them or did you wing it?

Oh my goodness, you are INSANELY talented!! I looked at all the other stuff you've made -- that's incredible! If I saw any of that stuff in a store, I'd definitely buy it (or I'd at least consider buying it, since I'm cheap and don't often buy a lot of stuff...haha).

How did you learn to do all of this stuff??! I've only ever made one purse, and I'm about to start a second one, but I don't think I could ever pull off all those dresses and shirts and hoodies you've made!

Anyway, just thought I'd let you know that I'm awed... lol Smiley.

thanks! i don't really know how i got into this whole sewing thing. i learned how to sew when i was 11 but didn't sew a thing until i was 14. i'm 16 now. i guess it took a lot of practice. i started off with reconstructions and simple totes. all the tutorials posted on craftster really helped. i usually start off with an idea and think about how it'd be constructed and just go for it. if i screw up i try to modify it into something else or i scrap it and learn from my mistakes. if you just keep sewing it'll all get a lot easier! thanks again!
