3RaysofSunshine-

This is so awesome and well done.  I LOVE the slide and loft!  I wish I would have thought of that back in the day.  But I did do something similar.

I had a swing in the doorway of our kitchen and it was there for years.  (Now my kids are too big sniff*sniff)  I want to give you a suggestion.

After having the swing for awhile, I purchased swing-set rings at Home Depot.  (I mean, the kind that have a large plastic ring at the end of a chain.)

My kids enjoyed the rings better than the swing, they could do lots of "look mom!" tricks (like lifting their feet off the ground!haha).  The bonus is that most of the stuff you do on the rings is stationary as opposed to the swing.  You do have to be careful with the kids getting knocked over by the swing if they aren't paying attention.

Also, I think the rings were great exercise because they really built upper body strength.

Another plus, which wouldn't apply to you, is that the rings could stay up in the doorway all the time without getting in the way, where the swing needed to be pushed out of the way.

for those who are wondering---I put two porch swing hooks in the large doorway to my kitchen.  I was lucky that the door jam was solid wood rather than plaster board.   We were the hit of all my kid's friends houses because we had a swing in the house!

WOW! Awesome job! And while pregnant?? My husband wouldn't let me do anything while I was pregnant!  Roll Eyes (that's a first time dad for you I guess)

That is wonderful. Nice work.

I don't know how high your ceilings are, but if you get up there to play with the kids, there is no end for the loft. Just think as they get older and want to hang out and play video games and such, see just cause they get older that doesn't mean the loft won't get plenty of use. You are a great mom and don't let them forget it.
