wow this is such a great idea! i have been wanting to make some beaded ornaments and couldn't think of how to do it. 

btw, did you mean to say 5 strands of wire and tie in a knot and not 10?  and what size wire did you use?

oops- yes, i meant 5.  and i used 24 gauge.  i corrected it above- thanks for pointing it out:)

Thank you so much for the cute craft and great tutorial!  I am going to make some small ones to hang from my packaging on some of my gifts. 

If  I want to make the snowflake a little smaller, do I still use 24 gage wire?

oh dear, i've gone and plugged my least favorite company...

SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL BEAD SHOP!!! (if you can at all afford to)

and i f you're really truly broke, i understand...and i will send a kit with beads and wire to the first 7 people who pm me their address.

no joke.  if it'll prevent another dollar going to walmart, it will have been worth it:)
