So I wanted to make my friend Kim a mini cookbook.
I cut the little girl out of an old book and put it on some cool paper.

Then I added 5 recipe cards

NOW this is where it gets fun.  I have never read anything on how to bind a book.  So I get some needle and string and some felt and go at it.

but I keep breaking my needles.  so it was time to bust out the glue.

I still embelished it

and it turned fine in the end

LOVE the whole retro look you have going! And I admire your resourcefulness in figuring out how to assemble the book with no binding knowledge! This is how ideas are born! Right On!  Grin

That's cute! Is it sick or just a sign of the times I live in that the girl on the cover... bending over and flashing her knickers... seems, well, you know. Pornographic.
