Wow! Thanks everyone!!  Cheesy
Hmm...let's see if I can answer all the questions: It took me about 8 months to finish it, but only because I put it away for about 6 months because I was so overwhelmed by the size of it! haha...I've been working on it for about a month straight now and managed to get it busted out pretty quickly.
The design is based on a few different pieces street art that I saw online a while back that I had printed off and then just had in some notebooks. I took a couple of those pics, drew up the images bigger onto the plywood and translated them into a mosaic...one of the images could have been a Banksy piece, not sure. I'm hanging the mosaic on my living room wall!...that is if my wall can hold it! It's extremely heavy and will be more so when I grout it. I'm just using some light gray grout. I was gonna get all fancy and use multi-colors and kinda blend them into a fresco type thing, but I want to get back to my real passion, which is spinning, so I basically just want this mosaic done so I can have room for fiber at my workspace Smiley
You should totally try mosaic! It's alot of fun. Someone who is amazing and that I'm inspired by alot is Sonia King...Oh, and also Laurel True. If you like mosaic you should check out their websites!

Eight months!! Even with the 6-mo. recess, that's a crazy long amount of time! Well, it looks fantastic, so I must say it was definitely worth it. Cheesy

I have done mosaics but nothing this big or detailed. The fact you did this basically in two months is just mind blowing! You must have worked around the clock to finish it. The wavy lines of tile adds interest to the picture. Very nice work!!!
