I'm so going to make that! you did an amazing job, it looks flawless. would love to see it on you. Hope you got a good grade!
I've start saving my pop tabs already. (I actually just snuck around the house (I really should be asleep...) and collected about 14 of them.) how many do you you think it took? Is it heavy? Is it comfy? can you post a tute? how did you do it? I have so many questions, but regardless, I love it!

that is amazing/ it must have taken you forever though! to get all those soda can tabs & then make an awsomely BEAUTIFUL dress, wonderfus  Smiley

Thanks, guys!  I appreciate the comments.

There really is no way that I can possibly give any tutorial, sorry.  This project was for an advanced level sculpture art class; I did a lot of experimentation to get what I wanted.  On top of that, I am a fashion major, and I am really in love with patternmaking.  Although I did not create a pattern as I would with a normal dress, I would say that it helped that I understood the process.  All I can say about how I did it, I think I have already said.  Quite frankly, I doubt that I would be able to re-create it again.

That being said, however, I did make this.  My theory is, if you are really intent on it; it's been made before, it can be made again!

This is hot! It looks like it has a lot of shape to it. You should totally wear this to a nightclub! I wrote a blog post on pop tab fashion at http://iminlovestyleblog.blogspot.com/ and featured your dress with a link back to your original topic post.
