i participated in last round and loved the ongoing model - you'd read people requests and go "wow! i can totally find those goodies for her/him!" ...or "nope. skip!"

i had great fun with hunting out items and received some fantastic thing in return

i may wait for the next ongoing round ... anyway if this a partner matched one do have fun - i'm sure the swap will be great too.

This is probably way off topic but I was thinking it would be great if we could make this a part craft/ part food or unique stuff from another country swap? I'm from England (I live in Tennessee now) originally and I miss all the UK food/sweets and other stuff. I'd be super happy to trade anything from the U.S. for a box of chocolates or something British!

We've got Marmite in DC.

(Man, is that a t shirt, or what?)

Cost Plus World Market had some British food as well. Trader Joes has some things. Dollar Tree has the occasional thing as well.

Let's see, where else have I found british food? Oh, there's a cool store in Florida that has stuff and if I remember correctly it was just called "The British Shop" or was it Shoppe?

And if you're in Michigan, hop the border to Canada and they have LOTS of stuff.

Just thought I'd help out - my grandma was British and gave me a taste for it so I look for it ALL the time.

I remember a couple of German supermarkets when I used to live in Tampa, Florida. Also bakeries - the one I remember was actually in St. Petersburg (or was it Clearwater?), and I used to go there all the time cause I was really craving my good German bread *hmmm*...
