Thanks, everyone. I'm really pleased with how it turned out. I think this has made me into a dress convert. I plan on using the same pattern to make at least another couple versions.

I don't see wearing THIS dress to work, but I do want to make a slick little white shirt to wear under the bolero with some sailor-type striped pants.

Then I can get rid of some of the more ill-fitting crap that's cluttering up my closet! Double-woot!

Great job and I really love the fabric that you chose. You have given me hope for getting my daughter to wear a dress.

I absolutely love it! Will you post a picture with you in it at some point? I'd love to see the fit on you. I think the jacket is my favorite part -- the little turned up sleeves are wonderful! Thanks for sharing!!!

My intention was to wear it to the convention this coming weekend, so hopefully I'll get a picture of me in it SOMEHOW... Grr, the problem with traveling alone is I have pictures of everything BUT me.

I love your dress - you must have turned heads in this outfit.  I love the jacket too - the bolero jacket you chose is even better with this dress than the one the pattern provided so good on you for mixing and matching your patterns and improving on the ensemble.
