Finding myself

When I found out I was going to my boyfriend's prom in May I knew I wanted something fifties-ish. He picked out the fabric (its pure silk- I got it for $4.99 a yard!) and I sewed it in the lounge of my dorm (I made a mess, my RA thought I was nuts). Anyway, we had a blast- it was better than my prom.

Oh yeah, I also made his tie. Its not short, he just can't tie it correctly  Wink

Not a good picture of him, but a good one of me:

Thanks for looking!

Cute dress, and I love that he picked out the fabric. I can barely get an opinion out of mine, hehe. I love your necklace too Cheesy

That's awesome, and in fact pretty much the dress I've been looking for.  Smiley

Did you use a pattern?  If so, which one?

I agree, that fabric is adorable and an excellent choice for the dress style. You are quite the dashing couple! I'd also love to see a closer view of that necklace you're wearing... design of yours by chance?
