Good question and great one for Linzo to answer.  It looks like some kind of electronic microchip board kind of thing.  I don't how it works, but I love the idea.

Okay ladies.  Be prepared to be jealous.  Moilulu is a fantastic swap partner who spoiled me rotten.

First up is a wonderful sleeping bag liner.  I love the print.  Very appropriate.


Next, is an apron.  I often camp with many, many girls.  And sometimes unwillingly take on the role of camp cook.  This will definitly come in handy.  (love the ladybugs)


This is so cute!  A TP holder, and bear bells.  Bears are a big nuisance here where I live.  We always have to be 'bear aware'


A knitted backpack to store my camping gear.  I just adore this!


A 'buggy' pillowcase, a personal care kit (see 'summer' and 'camping' added in wire!), and a sleep mask (with 'dream' and 'camping' embroidered)


Moilulu, thank you so much.  I love everything.  I will use everything the next time I camp.  I can't wait to show it all off to my girlguide friends.  They truely appreciate this sort of thing.

By the way, I love the colourwork in the backpack.  I'm a knitter too and I haven't had nerve enough to tackle colourwork yet.  I love the colours, then lining is so sturdy!  Thanks again.  It is gorgeous!!

I think this swap turned out really well. 

I can think of a dozen other things that I could have, should have made. 

We are officially finished.  Everyone has received.  I'm still waiting on one swapper to post pics.  But other than that we are done!

I will probably know by the end of next week or early the week after that if I can be up for a round two.  I am presently in three swaps, though one I should be done with by the end of next week and there is a possibility I will have another one done by then too.  For the third one it depends who I get partnered up with and how much crafting will then be involved.  Yes, I am officially hooked.

Now that the first campers swap is done we can have more ideas for a second one.  Hopefully more people will join now that they have seen the first round.

Yeah, I know.  I was a little dissappointed by how few joined this swap, but in retrospect, it was probably all I could have handled anyway.

I got the idea off instructables... it is a tiny solar panel with an led light and a rechargable battery. I just dismantled a solar garden light... wish I was that good with electronics/ had access to those type of parts.

I can organize if we wait until mid August.  I've sworn off swapping until then so I can study for the GRE.  grr.  But maybe by then we will have all been camping more and know what we need/want!
