Hi all!  I have been working on designing a Harry Potter quilt for over a year now.  I finally finished it in time to show it at Phoenix Rising in New Orleans last month.

Full-size quilt picture

The following pics are clickable thumbnails for more detail:

I'm working on my first book with the patterns I designed for this quilt.  That was not my original intention, but so many people have asked when I'll have a book available, it seemed like a natural step to take.  I hope you all enjoy!

Cool, thanks!

The entire quilt is paper pieced, all designed by me, all machine pieced and quilted by me.  I echo quilted each square.  Smiley

Shocked  I am in LOVE!!  that is the most amazing thing ever!!!  I have never even had enough focus to finish a quilt for my cat, but that has inspired me to brush up my quilting skills so I can work up that that.  I hope you are able to get that book going, let us know when it gets published!!

Thank you so much!  It's been a labor of love.  I really worked on it one square at a time and then went into overdrive to finish it in time to show it in May.  I couldn't be happier with it.

I'm writing the book, one way or another.  My fingers and toes are crossed that I can find someone willing to work with Warner Bros. because I'm sure that will be an issue.

Very cool!  I can understand why everyone wants the pattern!  Can you post some close-up pictures, I want to see more of the detail.  This is just such an awesome quilt!
